Where Will Love Guide You

What is love? Love is something that will drive you to the ends of the earth to be with a person no matter the distance, here I will begin, Its the Spring of 2011 with the sun shining through a just cleaned glass window starting a new awakening. This is the morning I leave to see the love of my life. The trip is not short riding in a gray Honda Accord. Although with time not on my side the view helps in the ride. We were departing for Oswego County, New York, a whole seven hour drive, with many stops along the way. The great weather did not last for long when we reached an unknown fog so thick we went fifteen miles per hour below the speed limit on a highway. As I searched the area from the backseat I found that If I were to stick my hand out the window the tip of my middle finger would disappear. It much reminded me of the movie "THE FOG" by Rupert Wainwright. Unlike the movie there was a happy ending leading us into clear blue skies with only three thin white clouds in sight. With the fog aside the trip was extravagant and beautiful. On the way to Oswego there is much to see and is filled with greenery and different leveled landscapes. The variety of the landscapes range from miles of flat grassland to mountainous regions with trees covering the sides all of the way to the top. One piece of scenery stayed true the whole ride up; the rest stops. All of the rest stops had the same exact shape taking away from the beauty of the ever changing scenery. The rest stops from the front come out into a triangle when in the back are shaped like a circle almost taking the shape of an ice cream cone. On the inside the same fast food chains were listed as McDonalds, Subway, Dunkin Donuts and an occasional Burger King. Inside were tables and a men's and women's bathroom.
