Part 1 -Description and Features of Product
Sin City. Entertainment Capital of the World. City of Lights. All these nicknames have become synonymous with the fabulous city of Las Vegas, Nevada. The land that was bought at auction on May 15, 1905 has since become a fabulous display of lights, action and non stop fun (City of Las Vegas, 2009). But, Las Vegas has much more to offer than just blinking lights and tinkering slot machines. It’s a destination for any vacation, or any occasion. More importantly, with a slowing economy, the cost for a Las Vegas vacation is extremely affordable. Vacation packages can be customized to fit any mold: The Bargain Traveler, The Honeymoon, The Birthday, The Family, The Girls Weekend, The Bachelor Trip, The Golfer, The Sports Fan, The Club Crowd, The Historian, the list goes on and on.
The great marketing advantage of promoting an inexpensive destination vacation for any occasion, is the wide target market. Las Vegas vacation packages can be customized to match any interests, any age demographic and any vacation purpose. Customers living outside of the Las Vegas area requiring flight into the city would greatly benefit from the vacation packages. Leisure travel will be aimed at customers looking to travel on a stretched dollar, and maximize their entertainment value. Since Las Vegas has over 24,000 conventions held every year (City of Las Vegas, 2009), packages can be customized to fit the business traveler as well.
The greatest feature of these travel packages is that hotel, airfare, taxes and fees are included with the base travel price. For as low as $199 a person, travelers can enjoy airfare and hotel accommodations for 3 nights at a hotel of their choosing (some hotels available for upgraded price).
