Rome

Rome Report

Rome was a very unique yet harsh place. They had many fights at the coliseum. Everybody watched them. The coliseum was the most popular place in Rome. The fights there were bloody and gory, yet people enjoyed them. That was the harshness of Rome. The enjoyable part was that it was so beautiful. Rome is an interesting place.

Rome also had very many important people that had made Rome a better place. Julius Caesar was one of them. He was the founder of the Empire. Romulus was also very important. He was the first King of Rome. Caligula named his horse Senator. I have no idea why he did that though. And last but not least, Traianus. He was the inventor of something that every single person loves and enjoys and goes to every day. He was the inventor of the famous mall.

The coliseum was a very important place to Rome. Many things went on there. It was the most popular place in Rome. It was built on four levels. The first was thirty feet high. The second being thirty-nine feet high. Leaving the third thirty-eight feet high. It was filled every day. There were bloody battles, Dramas, and Comedies. There is plenty more to say about this wonderful place, but I have to move on to the next thing.

There was a big tragedy in Rome that surprised many people. This tragedy was a huge fire. It lasted for nine days. It destroyed most of Rome. There was a rumor about Nero starting the fire. Nero was the creator of several buildings in Rome. People believed this rumor. Nero was so mad about this. He knew he had nothing to do with it. Because of this, Nero committed suicide.

People of Rome invented many things that we know and use today. Many countries know its language today. Rome became the greatest metropolis. For thousands of years, Rome was the richest, largest, and most politically important city in the western world. Rome’s heritage has played a huge part in people’s lives and still does today.
