I am XXX, a graduate from the department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) of Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology (AUST). I scored a CGPA of 3.526 on a scale of 4.00 and recently I am working as a Software Engineer in Datacraft Limited from November 2009 to present.
My objective for graduate studies in Informatics is to prepare myself for the long term goal of pursuing a career of teaching and research. I have nurtured a strong passion to become a scientist and pursue research. In the pursuit of Knowledge, I have always adopted a rigorous approach in order to attain an in-depth understanding of the subject at hand.
My undergraduate thesis topic was Security Issues in Wireless Sensor Network under the supervision of Md. Moinul Haque, Assistant Professor of Ahsanullah University of Science and technology. Here we describe the concept of sensor networks, architecture of Wireless Sensor Network, and then presents some of its new topologies, applications in various sections of our daily life, related security problems, threats, risks and some new countermeasures, basic concept of localization, components of localization system, and a most recent robust localization algorithm, called High-resolution range-independent localization. My work has helped me to gain knowledge about how sensor networks are designed; how vulnerabilities on networks can be exploited by attackers and how secure wireless sensor networks can be designed. In addition, it has introduced me to the challenges of building middle ware for distributed systems and designing databases. The inter-disciplinary nature of the work is one of the major reasons for my interest in the fields of sensor Networks and related Protocols, Database and Security.
I am also very much interested in the field of Databases, Distributed Systems and Programming Languages. During the undergraduate study, I performed in various programming contests and solved many interesting and brain storming programming...
