Intuition

Richard Branson, the famous British entrepreneur once said, "Whenever I experience any kind of setback, I always pick myself up and try again... Look outside the box and try and find a solution. You'll be surprised how many great opportunities and possibilities arise when things look bad. You've just got to open your mind and not be afraid of sticking your neck out... Fear is the only thing that stops people acting intuitively and going with their gut." I completely agree with this quote.

Have you ever had the feeling that when you look at someone or something, a thought or something spot on about them flashes into your head without much needed justification? This is what is known as intuition. The Oxford Dictionary defines intuition as the “direct perception of truth, fact, etc., independent of any reasoning process; immediate apprehension.” But obviously, the Theory of Knowledge isn’t based on just outside opinion, it’s based on what our opinion is, and how we react and understand the outside opinion as well. In my direct opinion, Intuition can be termed as something which assists us, (something along the lines of a “sixth sense”) and guides us towards the right answer for a particular problem or situation. This “gut feeling” we’re getting can never be justified as to why we’re getting it and where it’s coming from. But one thing is for sure, we’ve always been told that if unsure about anything or any situation, that we should follow our gut and our intuition. We later find out from experience that our gut feeling is not always right, but it gives us the satisfaction of trusting ourselves.

Human beings are capable of so many great things, and yet there are some things that stand between us and eternal greatness. This is where your intuition kicks in.
