How the presentation affected my view for having a sexual relationship

The presentation was a great and informative way to get people to use protection all the time during sexual intercourse. The way she used various pictures to describe and display what the different STDs can do to your body was quite enlightening. The way she broke down what each disease did to the body made me wonder about my sexual life. I knew about the different STDs but I never seen pictures of what it looked like. Now I know that every time I am having sexual relations that I need to protect myself and others from the spread of these various diseases. The presentation also made me want to get tested annually to prevent from the spread of these diseases. I learned that oral sex can give someone one of these diseases which was new information to me because I have never heard that before. I have to treat my body right at all times to live longer and disease free. I also learned that knowing is caring and often STDs have no symptoms. The presentation taught me that you cannot tell from just looking at a person if they have a disease or not. I wish that a list was made so that everyone would know who has what disease but unfortunately that is not the case. The presentation also taught me that STDs have no age limit. It does not matter whether you are old or young; it will have the same consequences regardless. I learn that I have to be more aware of what is taking place inside my body. The reason for this is because you cannot see some STDs with the naked human eye. Sometimes the disease is deep inside of the person and can be fatal if the right precautions are not taken. I wish this world was disease free but these do exist, and they will kill you if not treated. These STDs are a very terrifying thing to think about, but exist nonetheless.
