I chose hiring because of the different tasks that have to be performed when interviewing a potential employee. The morals and ethical issues that are faced with hiring are usually multilevel moral and ethical issues, like racism, religion, and gender. Some of these moral and ethical issues are sometimes challenging, as a manager you are faced with a lot of issues and making the right choices and decisions. I think that it’s all about making the right decisions, and this is what makes it hard for a manager, as we are not perfect human beings, and sometimes we are not always right. Being a manager you have many decisions to make, like hiring and terminating an employee, and on top of all of this managers are faced with ethical and moral issues every day. Communicating with other managers and employees passing out important details pertaining to the operations of the organization (George and Lazareth, 2003). While a manager has to deal with all types of people they have and they have to know how to interact with each and every one them. I find that the relationship between social issues and ethical responsibilities in management when hiring has to do a lot with what is right and what is wrong you have to consider trust.

When in management you have to try and make an accurate decision, this decision will affect the company, in more ways than one for example when hiring you have to do a background check on the potential employee to make sure they don’t have a criminal past that might harm the organization or one that they have a violent background that would put your present employees in jeopardy.
