I am interested in applying for the Student - Student - DL Sales Analyst position advertised through the Faculty of Management Co-op Program at the University of Lethbridge. I am working towards my Bachelor of Management Degree and have been interested in further pursuing a Masters Degree. The position fits well with my current career objective to work for a pioneer and leader in the oil sands industry. A Co-op assignment with Suncor Energy would be an extremely rewarding opportunity for me to contribute in a large-scale organization and increase my understanding of the oil sands industry and how Suncor manages and tracks its sale.

I have worked for the past 8 months with the City of Edmonton Drainage Design & Construction department. Where a lot of my duties where related to tracking budgets and making reports and analysis of certain projects. This position gave me a solid foundation on SAP, Excel as well as data analysis

Courses that I have taken such as Financial/Managerial Accounting, Managerial Economics, and Business Economics/Statistics for Business and Information Systems Management have provided me with valuable knowledge needed to succeed within analysis field. These courses have taught me the process of deriving prices, data analysis, market research and vast knowledge on financial reporting for the purpose of maintaining organizational competitiveness. Through these courses I have also gained experience in computer skills, public speaking, and critical thinking as well as presentation skills.

The position of Student - DL Sales Analyst with Suncor Energy would allow me to further expand my knowledgebase on the subject of sales management in the Oil sands industry by performing live reports, working with live statistics, all while working with experienced individuals which will be guides/mentors for me.
